As an individual, I am the guardian and guide of my own destiny. Person-environment relationships are increasingly coming into focus in considerations of personal sustainability, since, despite many awareness campaigns, the desired effects in terms of environmentally responsible behavior have not been achieved. Now, in this debate, there is also great interest in a solution—specifically, in identifying influencing factors that promote environmentally responsible behavior.
