Arendt’s account of politics reveals how new beginnings can only come about by reaffirming the value of common sense and opinion. The only answer to the technocratic predicament is to continuously take into account the world itself. This does not mean reclaiming grand narratives about modernity and reason. Rather, it implies always viewing the world anew, and exchanging opinions about it with others.
