The Self-Concept of Advertising Practice During Times of Technological and Social Disruption
摘要
Over the past decade, advertising has undergone significant transformations due to the convergence of social and technological disruptions (Fondevila-Gascón et al., 2020). These changes stem from shifts in power dynamics brought on by the rise of platforms and artificial intelligence, the evolving ways of conveying meaning and perception in advertising, and the redefined ethics of communication. Although these disruptions are deeply interconnected, they have often been examined in isolation, leading to fragmented discussions within the field.
