The following chapter presents the development of a methodology for evaluating value creation in production processes on construction sites. Section 4.1 first describes the approach taken in the development of the methodology. Section 4.2 then provides a theoretical classification and derives methodological points of reference. The basic structure of the methodology is outlined in Sect. 4.3. Building on this, the overall methodology is presented in Sect. 4.4. The chapter concludes with a presentation of the set of methods in Sect. 4.5.
