Introduction
摘要
The present study examines the individual care intensity of hotel guests. It analyzes how culture, historical industry developments, and education-related competencies and behaviors have influenced the development of hotel-specific services. The aim is to understand why there is still no industry-specific definition of guest care, why it should evolve into the actual service of the hotel industry in times of hybrid guests (Rath, 2018), and what competencies and tools hotel employees should be equipped with for an increasingly intercultural environment.
