Having discussed the empirical outcomes of this research, and their relevance for the hypotheses and the two research objectives, it is time to zoom out, i.e. to revisit the research question and examine what the overall implications of the research are. This concluding chapter will manage this. In the coming sub-section, which is the main part of the conclusion, an answer to the research question is given and theoretical and empirical implications are presented. Afterwards, another part will lay out practical applications for the GFC.
