In the last couple of decades, an immense amount of effort has been put into understanding holographic dualities in their continuous versions. Seeing this undeniable success of theoretical frameworks based on the holographic principle for continuous variables, one is immediately lead to the question of whether this can be achieved in discrete settings as well. Such discrete systems offer a plethora of attractive features, such as computational tractability, well-established methods for numerical manipulation, but perhaps most interestingly, the connection to experimental realizations.

摘要

In the last couple of decades, an immense amount of effort has been put into understanding holographic dualities in their continuous versions. Seeing this undeniable success of theoretical frameworks based on the holographic principle for continuous variables, one is immediately lead to the question of whether this can be achieved in discrete settings as well. Such discrete systems offer a plethora of attractive features, such as computational tractability, well-established methods for numerical manipulation, but perhaps most interestingly, the connection to experimental realizations.
