The perception of the public sector's performance is more negative compared to the private sector. This paper focuses on human-centred factors that need to be considered when introducing AI in the public sector to improve negative citizens’ perceptions. Therefore, this article provides a literature review structuring studies to examine what drives citizens’ perceptions.
