Within this overarching structure, the outcomes of this thesis can be categorized into three key dimensions: the definition of “limited” conservatism, as defined by the analytical framework, and its relationship to conservatism in Turkey; the context of authoritarianism and the rise of conservatism; and the relationship between the approaches of conservative intellectuals and the hegemonic discourses of their respective periods.
