Study 3: The Role of Regulative Institutions in the Effects of Social, Environmental and Economic CSR Dimensions across Nations
摘要
Perceived corporate social responsibility (i.e., perceptions of firms’ social, environmental and economic initiatives; Aramburu and Pescador 2019; Luger, Hofer and Floh 2022) is highly relevant for attracting consumers (Ozkan, Cek and Eyupoglu 2022; Vera-Martínez, Alvarado-Herrera and Currás-Pérez 2022). Multinational corporations (MNCs), such as Bosch (2023) and Volkswagen (2023), signal their social, environmental and economic CSR to globally appeal to consumers; but these dimensions are often advantageous in one country but not in another. Bosch, for example, highlights the relevance of the regulatory requirements worldwide to which it complies.
