Critical Social Work: A Must, Not a Can
摘要
Critical Social Work engages at the level of the discipline as well as the profession with the questioning of power and domination relationships. It identifies and analyzes social inequalities and the resulting distribution of life chances based on respective theoretical approaches as well as structural conditions in social pedagogical practice, in order to search for solutions and regulatory options for society and the individual. Thus, Critical Social Work poses relevant questions about emancipation, participation, autonomy, self-empowerment, and self-help.
