After describing the empirical approach of this dissertation and concluding the pre-study that answered RQ 2, Chaps. 8–10 present the description of the three case studies. Each case is evaluated on its own to identify case specific behavior before combining the data in the Chaps. 11–12 in order to answer RQ 3 and RQ 4. For the analysis, the three-factor model that is described in detail in Chap. 5, Sect. 5.3 is applied. The analysis and descriptions consistently follow the sequence of examining the factors related to, first, the context, second, the culture, and third, the people involved, always in the specific context of cross-cultural team KS. The analysis begins by examining the team challenges and then moves on to team success factors.
