Mindfulness: On the Pedagogical Relevance of a Technique of Self-care
摘要
With the rise of studies of consciousness and in particular on mindfulness, a debate has arisen in recent years about the social, cultural, and educational implications of such studies. From a pedagogical perspective mindfulness interests as a technique of both awareness and self-care which has to be and can be learned. In the run-up to an empirical study of this phenomenon, this article refers to the theory of self-care before addressing life-learning as the related dimension of a pedagogical theory of learning. Based thereon, in the third and last part we will outline the research design and the associated implications of an organizational-educational study of this phenomenon.
