摘要
Political transnationalism, is a complex phenomenon that requires an analysis of various dimensions. It is a composite of different concepts, from nationalism to migration. The complexity of ‘political transnationalism’ requires a deconstruction of the term. To this end, this chapter undertakes three tasks: First, it decomposes political transnationalism into its core components. It starts with the historical development of the term ‘diaspora’ and touch upon discussions regarding the terms that are used in a similar direction in the literature such as migrants, diasporic and transnational communities.
