In conclusion, standards are established to make the delivery of products and services reliable and companies comparable. Nevertheless, the question remains, if the structure and way of work within subsidiaries of a company around the world are comparable only because the same rules are applied. Although not all hypotheses could be confirmed, the confirmation, as well as the rejection of some hypotheses, assisted in gaining knowledge on the linkage of countries cultural impact on the formalization of management systems. It could be shown that the culture of the countries has the strongest effect and except from departments no other demographics indicate a significant impact. However, these significant differences of the departments are rather small compared to the findings of cultural impact.
