The literature research shows that it can be expected that countries with a high UAI require detailed process descriptions in comparison to countries with a low UAI. However, there are rarely any studies that deal with the interaction of these two topics, even though they play an essential role in the globally organized world. Furthermore, due to increasing requirements, laws and regulations, it is particularly relevant to examine in depth the relationship between the formalization of management systems and the influence of national culture on the individual locations of a company.
