Before it is possible to discuss the theoretical foundation of the analysis and the empirical analysis itself, I present the main concepts of the study: minorities with invisible characteristics, representation, political values, and awareness. Minorities with invisible characteristics are the subject of research and show a decisive difference from visible minorities: Their members do not have an outwardly recognisable feature that is linked to their minority. Regarding representation, especially descriptive and substantive representation are important. The two concepts linked to the second and third pathway follow: political values and awareness.
