AI-Based Storytelling in Purpose-Driven Marketing

This chapter synthesizes purpose-driven marketing and AI-based storytelling, then introduces a governance-embedded operating model—P-NOM 2.0—to make purpose credibly actionable at scale. It addresses a core gap: today’s AI content pipelines rarely hard-wire purpose alignment, evidence anchoring, or assurance. P-NOM 2.0 links a formal purpose ontology and evidence ledger to retrieval-augmented generation, enforces a pre-release Purpose Gate (purpose-fit, authenticity, competence, impact), and closes the loop with dual-path outcomes (cognitive and affective) and continuous learning. Designed for CMOs, brand/communications leaders, sustainability, data/AI, legal/IR teams, and agencies, it offers a stepwise blueprint, auditability, and stakeholder-level metrics usable across B2C, B2B, nonprofit, and investor contexts. The chapter also outlines a research agenda (valid instruments, AI/human/hybrid comparisons, boundary conditions) and notes practical limits (e.g., evidence-ledger resourcing and the need for empirical validation).
