“Pulp Fiction” (1994) by Quentin Tarantino impressively displays the postmodern experience and culture. First, the characteristics that have made the film a cult film and an important example of postmodernist art are determined. Then, the features that transcend the existing and embody utopia and hope are analyzed. This question about the negative and critical dimensions of this popular film vis-à-vis the existing social order cannot be answered by looking at the content alone; the formal level of aesthetics must also be taken into account.
