Steroid Hormones
摘要
Herein is a discussion of how the lipid-derived steroid hormones found in humans respond to an acute exercise session, as well as the adaptations that occur in such hormones with chronic exercise training exposure. A key intent of addressing this topic is to aid the reader in realizing the critical aspects of steroid hormones to support the control of numerous physiological processes and as such emphasize how viable these hormones are in the ability of both females and males to perform exercise and gain the benefits of exercise adaptations through the plasticity of the endocrine system.
