We present an overview of the theory of nonlocal games and how games induce algebras. These algebras have been used to separate various sets of quantum correlations, leading to the resolution of problems of Connes, Kirchberg, and Tsirelson. We survey the theory of various families of games, including games arising from graph isomorphisms, graph colorings, and systems of equations.
