A Survey on Blockchain-Based Agriculture Supply Chain Platform
摘要
The project Planned the creation of a demand-driven, blockchain-enabled agricultural supply chain platform that directly connects Indian farmers with exporters and agri-businesses. The system is designed to monitor traceability, transparency, and compliance with international regulations such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) through the implementation of a permissioned blockchain network. Verified data regarding the origin of the crop, land rights, and farming are securely stored, thus, providing a digital record that cannot be altered from the farm to the export. Farmers, through a mobile app, can create profiles of their land plots which are GPS-based, upload time-stamped pictures of crops, and obtain access to real-time demand alerts. Exporters are given a web dashboard from which they can advertise their requirements, verify farmer details, trace the origin of crops, and automatically generate EUDR-compliant reports. AI/ML is used for the verification and quality checks of crop images; smart contracts thus, making online transactions secure and automated, while government APIs like AgriStack and e-Pehchan are used for authenticity. The platform brings farmers to global buyers resulting in improved market access, increased trust, and higher profitability, whereas companies are facilitated to meet the requirements of sustainability and traceability. Simply put, it is a tandem that leads to a transparent, technology-driven, and inclusive agricultural ecosystem.
