Academic Performance and Its Influence on Students Placement Outcomes: An Exploratory Analysis
摘要
Academic performance is an important factor for getting a job, but it does not alone decide placement results. This study looks at the relationship between academic performance and placement success of 181 Master of Computer Applications (MCA) students using Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA). Academic details like semester-wise marks, CGPA, and subject strengths are analyzed along with placement details. Statistical methods and visual tools are used to find patterns and relationships in the data across different student batches. The analysis shows that students with consistent academic performance have better chances of getting placed, but academic scores alone does not decide the salary package. The results clearly show that placement success depends on a mix of academic performance, technical skills, and behavioral qualities. This study helps teachers, institutions, and students to understand that along with academics, skill development is also important to improve employability.
