To counter the turbulent landscape caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, this paper explores new-age strategies and technologies for support to fresh graduates. First, it deals with the overwhelming impact of the economic depression on employment opportunities in software engineering. It continues discussing advanced tools such as AI-enabled solutions, a dedicated job board, and virtual career fairs. Interventions are targeted towards helping the graduates get entry into the job market. A holistic evaluation of such interventions leads to a description of their efficacy in empowering the recent graduates and in achieving success in integrating them into the professional roles, despite challenges posed by the pandemic. All this measures create a supportive ecosystem as well as utilize technological advancements toward both the removal of immediate barriers and the support of continuing professional development. This work therefore places emphasis on both flexible and technology-based approaches in unprecedented challenges, among them, supporting recent graduates during periods of economic uncertainty and transition.
