This chapter discusses some issues that may impact women more than men in the field of successful innovation. Perspectives are based on the research, observations and experiences of the author. Beginning the innovation process slowly and incrementally can be a way to build confidence in one’s ability to innovate. This approach does not underestimate seemingly smaller innovation because it may have big innovation impacts. Looking for innovation in your daily tasks and domestic work may have a large impact. Work–life balance continues to present issues for women in innovation and entrepreneurship. Based on personal experience, the author has seen that women may feel threatened by the success of other women, which can impact the support and mentorship that is helpful for succeeding.
