Advocating for Independence of Nurse Practitioners in the United States
摘要
This chapter synthesizes the concept of intersectionality, examining how overlapping systems of oppression shape health outcomes and healthcare experiences. It explores how race, gender, disability, socioeconomic status, and sexual orientation interact to produce compounded inequities. This chapter emphasizes the importance of holistic, intersectional approaches in nursing education, research, and practice. Nurses are encouraged to adopt frameworks that recognize complexity and promote equitable, patient-centered care.
