The article considers the main ways of delivering goods from China to Europe. It shows the impact of these ways of delivering goods on the global economy. It also shows the role of Central Asia in this process and shows ways to improve it. A new option for the development of the railway line, which will connect the North-South, East-West. At the direction of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan the variant of locating the railway border station at which the gauge will be changed from 1435 mm to 1520 mm is offered. Factors for the choice and placement of technical facilities at the border station are justified. The method which allows to quickly carry out the change of railway gauge is substantiated. Taking into account the current situation in the world, the development of alternative transport routes is of great importance. Uzbekistan, depending on its geographical location, has very favorable conditions for the creation of multimodal transport corridors. The itinerary China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan will make it possible to create transport and logistics hubs in Central Asia and maximize the country’s transit potential.
