In this chapter, we focus on how to conduct pay equity studies for non-tenure eligible faculty. Because the nature of their work and how they are compensated can be quite different from tenure-eligible faculty, who are for the most part full-time employees who engage in teaching, research, and service activities, it is recommended that separate analyses of pay equity be conducted for them. This chapter follows a similar structure as Chap. 7. The chapter first discusses who should be included in the study, followed by the types of variables that would be appropriate for non-tenure eligible faculty. Data on non-tenure eligible faculty at an institution are then used to illustrate how a pay equity study for them could be conducted.

摘要
