As digital workflow becomes increasingly central to the fields of oral surgery and implant dentistry, AI tools have shown potential to automate complex processes, enhance diagnostic capabilities, and optimize treatment outcomes. The purpose of this chapter is to synthesize and analyze the current scientific literature on the application of AI across important domains of oral surgery. In this context, among the main important roles and features of AI tools are the automated segmentation of anatomical structures and data preparation. Apart from surgical removal of lesions (previously discussed in Chap. 3 ), these AI features have consistently presented a growing influence in oral implantology and even management of maxillofacial trauma, from presurgical planning to postoperative prognosis.

摘要
