“Little Care” – A Smart Monitoring System for Newborns
摘要
The digital transformation of healthcare services also focuses on newborn monitoring. In this context, an intelligent monitoring system for newborns called “Little Care” was developed to detect and notify parents whenever the infant cries or moves. The system includes a microprocessor, vibration, motion, sound, and gas sensors that automatically identify a baby’s movement or crying. Notifications are sent to parents in real time through the Little Care mobile application. The prototype includes sensors such as PIR motion detection (SR602), gas detection (MQ-135), analog microphone (MAX4466), temperature and humidity monitoring (DHT11), audio amplifier (PAM8403), a speaker, and a 18650 battery. The system demonstrated high responsiveness and reliability during testing.
