This article presents a Design and analysis of a multiband microstrip patch antenna for wearable technology. A modified rectangular patch and a simple microstrip line are used for the radiating of the antenna. The antenna is resonating between 2.20 to 2.51 GHz, 3.62 to 3.75 GHz, 4.34 to 4.85 GHz, 5.86 to 6.25 GHz, and 6.67 to 9.74 GHz with 310 MHz, 130 MHz, 510 MHz, 390 MHz, and 3070 MHz, respectively, and the antenna is resonating as a five-band antenna. The highest gain is 3.6 dB at 3.98GHz, and the lowest gain is 2.67 dB at 5.70 GHz. The radiation efficiency exceeds 80% throughout the operating band. This antenna is used in Bluetooth, WiMax, and C-band applications.

摘要
