The House, as an entity, an architectural fact, and an object of study that codifies the mental dimensions woven into the brain of the architect who conceives, designs, and inhabits it, is something that occupies reflection on architectural design practice. In all these dimensions, the House motivates the drawing of margins, of boundaries for reflection that foster affinities and harmonious coexistences between brains that generate architectural thought and practice. Thus, when we take the gesture of drawing, materialised by the architect, as a possibility to pour out a universe of “unconscious memory” that configures the House, it is essential to focus on a ‘conscious’ projection of this spatial universe, building, in itself, a Body that thinks, designs and inhabits it. This paper aims to dwell on the accounts around this notion of House, based on the notes produced by two minds, which appear to be on the margins of each other and for whom the idea of House was a subject of constant reflection: Álvaro Siza Vieira (born 1933) and Marco Frascari (1945–2013). By exploring these affinities and coexistences, which provide a (re)encounter of stimuli for the lines of thought of these two architects. The connection between the two architects and the elucidative nature of drawing emphasise their importance in architectural thought. Keywords: House-Body; Álvaro Siza Vieira; Marco Frascari.

摘要
