Holistic therapy is an advanced healthcare system that focuses on a mind-body treatments using complementary and alternative therapies. It focuses on patients on whole and from both physical, psychological and moral aspects. The study aims of this literature review is to find the effect of combining holistic therapies with modern medicine in hospitals on both patients’ health and treatment cost. It also will explore the methodology of combinations in advanced certified health care centers. The result of this literature review shows a beneficial effect of introducing a hybrid model of modern conventional medicine (western medicine) with holistic complementary and alternative therapies in a certified healthcare provider institution. Despite few challenges, positive effects notices on chronic patients’ satisfaction on healing and treatment expenses. Future research is needed on practical ways of integrating this hybrid therapy model in certified institutions to avoid drugs interactions and improves healthcare quality.
