Earlier chapters have argued that education and climate change are mutually shaping systems. Chapter 1 developed a systems perspective on the co‑evolution of education and climate; Chap. 2 mapped first‑ and second‑order effects and distinguished major narratives of climate change education (CCE), from climate literacyClimate change education (CCE)narratives (climate literacy; climate action; green economy; ESD; critical/decolonial) to decolonial and justice‑oriented approaches. Further, Chaps. 3 and 4 examine how national governments and networks of educators support climate change education. This chapter extends the analysis to examining how climate change education is integrated into school and community practice.
