Recycling of Renewable Technologies in Cuba: Photovoltaic
摘要
This paper is based on the recycling of renewable technologies in Cuba, specifically photovoltaic solar systems, a topic that is truly of utmost importance due to the awareness that humanity has taken with respect to the search for clean energy and care for the environment. The recycling of this technology emerges as an essential component in the transition towards a sustainable and circular economy. First, the available recycling methods are examined in detail, from chemical and mechanical processes to emerging technologies such as pyrolysis and material recovery. Both their effectiveness in the recovery of valuable materials and their environmental impact are evaluated, including considerations on CO2 emissions and toxic waste. In addition, the economic viability of solar panel recycling is analyzed, considering the costs associated with collection, transportation and processing, as well as the potential economic benefits derived from the recovery of materials such as silicon, aluminum and glass. In addition, the role of solar panel recycling in the context of the circular economy is addressed, highlighting its contribution to the reduction of electronic waste and the conservation of natural resources.
