In the contemporary academic setting students are under the growing pressure of schools, family and the society. This paper develops research inquiry into the different impact of academic stress in the psychological and social consequences of students. It is important to note that the paper outlines the primary stressors that include the need to achieve the best grades, the fear of failure, parental pressure and competitive environment based on research and qualitative data. It examines both the mental (anxiety, depression and burnout) and physical effects (sleep problems and reduced immune function). The study Highlighting the capacity of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to facilitate stress alleviation in academic life, the growing importance of digital mental health tools like mobile applications and online counseling as the means of providing comprehensive, easily accessible help. Findings show that although many students apply positive coping strategies such as practicing mindfulness and seeking social support, many of them engage in adverse coping behavior which aggravates their mental health conditions. This paper ensures that special attention is paid to the fact that educational institutions, policy makers and families must equally focus on the most critical issues of mental health and academic performance. Through facilitating positive learning environment, inclusion of SEL programs, and use of digital technology, those concerned can build a balanced academic system that promotes educational achievement and psychological wellness. Practical recommendations on how to reduce academic stress, enhance student strength, and develop a more humane and diverse educational framework are provided at the end of the paper.
