Cloud computing has revolutionized the global network today. Cloud computing offers easy and on demand access to computer resources. These resources could be storage, applications, or processing. The modern internet is based on the complex infrastructure of the cloud. The cloud adaptability has led to the rise of social media industries and large technology enterprises. The biggest challenge encountered in cloud is related to security. Since, the cloud is decentralized and shared by several users. Due to which the cloud suffers from risks like malware infection and insider attacks. There are also other risks such as unauthorized access or denial of service attacks. Many techniques are used to overcome these challenges. Use of encryption, firewalls, access controls and policy control can somewhat reduce the threats. This paper examines the security issues surrounding the cloud deployment and its infrastructure.
