This paper proposes a data-sharing method using multiple network groups for web-based virtual worlds. In this method, users construct data-sharing networks according to their location information. However, the network is divided into multiple groups using our previous method. Using this divided network, a user cannot retrieve data from other groups, which means that the user cannot display other users’ avatars in other network groups. To solve this problem, our proposed method assigns a user to multiple groups based on the user’s location information. The user can retrieve data from the network groups that the user belongs to. To evaluate the proposed method, a simulation-based experiment was conducted, and the data coverage rate was measured.

摘要
