This study has been conducted to help identify a blueprint for the successful identification of cases of bullying and cyberbullying, particularly in the school setting, and to develop strategies for deterring these incidents. This research has resulted in the creation of a draft programmatic proposal that aims to deter and reduce school violence, improve school security and climate through education, prevention, and training. This study has pursued the United States Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs designated targets for priority consideration (i.e., “Priority Area”) as the project was specifically designed to “meaningfully advance equity and remove barriers to accessing services and opportunities for communities that have been historically underserved, marginalized, adversely affected by inequality, and disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization,” specifically from school violence and cyberbullying. It is essential for a community to espouse empathy, inclusivity, and understanding in order to eliminate the threat of school violence. Using “STOP School Violence Program” funding, this project has aimed to “STOP” school violence and to improve overall school safety and climate through education, prevention, and training.

摘要
