A Synergistic Framework: Digital Twin Meets Blockchain for Next-Gen Healthcare Data Security and Analytics

The demand for secure data processing and control grows with rapid digital transformation in healthcare and other data-intensive fields. Traditional systems are often vulnerable to data tampering risks. This paper discusses the urgent need for data integrity to be assured by using a blockchain-based verification mechanism to complement the digital twin model. The proposed solution in this paper will be better equipped to deal with data management by incorporating digital twins with blockchain in a manner which means those changes are guaranteed to leave behind an immutable record. A simpler frontend or files are uploaded to smart contract that automatically creates primary keys for them. This also includes the encrypted hash of files in a file and the local database being updated to record its metadata. A digital twin is kept abreast of information; changes in the data can arrive in real-time. At regular intervals, integrity will be checked through challenge-response, so it recalculates and checks the equivalence of Hashes between the files on a database with those of such files on the blockchain. Any inconsistencies that occur will lead to further investigation being needed in order to ensure that the data is right and has not been interfered with. It combines the transparency and security of blockchain with the flexibility offered by a digital twin produced for advanced analytics and tracking. Therefore, this paper presents a secure, efficient, scalable solution for data integrity, in use in medicine and other sectors that need high reliability of data storage and integrity.
