This paper systematically analyzes the main types and characteristics of water pollution, discusses the principles and applications of water environment quality testing technology, and focuses on the quality control method of automatic monitoring system. Studies have shown that suspended particulate matter, nitrogenous compounds and metal elements are the three main types of water pollution, and chemical titration and instrumental analysis are the two major technical pillars of water quality testing. By establishing a sound quality control system, the accuracy and reliability of monitoring data can be significantly improved, and a scientific basis can be provided for water environmental protection decision-making.
