This paper analyzes recent United Nations initiatives aimed at reforming global governance in a context where the international order is being questioned. Based on a diagnosis of the crisis of liberal multilateralism, aggravated by Donald Trump's return to the US presidency in 2025 and his unilateralist foreign policy, the proposals contained in two key documents are examined: Our Common Agenda (2021) and Pact for the Future (2024). These texts posit the need for a more inclusive, interconnected, and effective multilateralism, with measures such as the reform of the Security Council, the revitalization of the General Assembly, and the strengthening of the UN Economic and Social Council. However, the analysis concludes that, despite the rhetorical ambition, the United Nations’ proposals lack concreteness and do not adequately address the current challenges of global governance, limiting themselves to reproducing an institutional architecture that shows signs of obsolescence.

摘要
