Prioritizing Renewable Energy Options with the Hybrid Preference Selection Index and Priority Observed from the Gaussian Attitude Presumption of Alternatives Approach During the Energy Transition
摘要
The transition to renewable energy sources is a matter of great importance in the current global context, given the increasing demand for energy and the environmental and socioeconomic challenges the world is facing. The pursuit of a more sustainable energy matrix has become an undeniable priority worldwide. This study aims to rank the best renewable energy sources for Brazil, using the hybrid PSI PrOPPAGA method. The considered criteria include Energy Generation Efficiency, Economic Viability, and Social Acceptance. After a thorough analysis and consultation with experts via anonymous questionnaires, Solar Energy emerges as the most viable option, followed by Natural Gas and Hydroelectric Energy. The method effectively reduced subjectivity in decision-making, offering a systematic approach to prioritize renewable energy alternatives.
