Assumptions of the Production Scheduling Model in the Smart Factory Demonstrator
摘要
The article is focused on the characteristics of the production scheduling and rescheduling model in a laboratory smart factory demonstrator at the Poznan University of Technology. As a key element of the Industry 4.0 concept, smart factories require advanced IT systems capable of interpreting data and making decisions in real time. Traditional production scheduling is insufficient in a dynamically changing market demanding product customization. The paper presents the architecture of the 4Factory IT system, along with the conceptual implementation of supporting technologies such as IoT and RFID, enabling real-time data collection and processing. The process of generating production schedules and the implementation of a rescheduling strategy are described, allowing adaptive modifications to the production plan in response to disruptions such as workstation failures, urgent orders, or changes in priorities. The key conclusion is that effective rescheduling requires access to high-quality, up-to-date data from the production infrastructure. The added value of the article is the development of a coherent description of the production scheduling and rescheduling model, which is implemented in the smart factory demonstrator. The creation of a real research environment allows for conducting research in various simulation conditions, which will form the basis for further research.
