Training Application for the Operation and Selection of Parameters of the Additive Manufacturing Process Using the FDM Method
摘要
This article presents research results on the use of a 3D training application for operating an FDM printer and selecting process parameters. A training application was developed in the Unity environment, featuring a realistic model of the FlashForge Adventurer 4 printer, parameter selection modules, and instructional videos. Comparative studies were conducted with 10 participants divided into an experimental group (training via the application) and a control group (training using the standard method). The results showed that the experimental group was, on average, 74% shorter training time, 47% more accurate in performing tasks, and achieved over three times higher knowledge gains than the control group. The practical findings confirmed that the use of interactive applications enhances the educational process in the field of additive manufacturing technology.
