Urban Health and Lifestyle Determinants: Analyzing Environmental and Social Influences on Chronic Disease in the United States
摘要
This study investigates population health and quality of life in relation to the complex interactions between urban environments, infrastructure quality, and urban design, with a focus on understanding the well-being of urban residents in the United States. We employed Pearson correlation analysis, regression modeling, and statistical techniques to explore the relationship between urban lifestyle factors and associated health outcomes. The analysis focused on four prevalent health issues: asthma, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and opioid overdose. To enhance the efficiency of our findings, we integrated three distinct datasets, offering a more comprehensive view compared to previous studies. The experimental results reveal meaningful associations between urban lifestyle characteristics and public health outcomes, which emphasizes valuable insights for urban planning and health policy development.
