Optimal decision-making is core to IoT but these decisions are based upon the data sensed by the sensors. Communication this data from sensors to the cloud is very important. All traditional communication technologies whether internet or cellular standards like 2G/3G or 4G is that they all have provided more capacity for the downlink traffic whereas flow of data is more from sensors to server in IoT.
