Opinion sharing platforms are the prime concern in today’s digital world as they play a vital role in sharing users’ opinions regarding a product, or sharing their views in political aspects, join in a public forum discussion. In the digital world this information influences many business platforms and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc., as these companies use this information for public view analysis and decision making. To prove the identity of legitimate users of the platform, users must reveal their personal information on every login. To cross verify the identity of legitimate user the platform providers are supposed to store their personal information for authentication purposes. This becomes a privacy concern from the user’s end. To address this issue, in this research work a Zero-Knowledge Proof based authentication framework is developed to preserve the privacy of the users. ZKP verifies the authentication of legitimate users without revealing their identity using Zk-SNARK algorithm. The proposed framework also adopts blockchain technology for opinion storage which will enhance transparency and integrity of the opinion. In a nutshell, the disruptive framework acts as a self-platform that encompasses holistic mechanisms to ensure the attributes like users’ identity and authentication, transparency and integrity. The proposed model is evaluated using different metrices to prove its significance.
