Endovascular Repair of Hypogastric Artery Aneurysm Following Open Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
摘要
Hypogastric artery aneurysms (HAA) are rare with an incidence of 0.4% and are six times more common in men. Most HAA under 4.0 cm do not rupture. Endovascular repair is preferred. Open repair should be considered primarily for mycotic HAA. Open repair is associated with higher morbidity and mortality than endovascular repair.
