The aim of the study was to assess changes in the level of self-esteem of digital competences among Polish and Slovak students conducted and their use of electronic tools and online activities in 2018 and in 2025. Pandemic Covid-19 and the revolutionary development of ICT technology certainly had an impact on the assessment of student competences. The research was conducted in parallel by the survey among students in Poland and Slovakia. The same survey questionnaire was used for research. The analysis of the results was carried out using statistical tests and spatial simulations performed in the STATISTICA 13 program. The obtained research results indicate that students assess their digital competences at a higher but even and more flattened and less diverse level. In addition, students from Slovakia assess their digital competences as significantly higher in the second study compared to the 2018 study.
